How To Get Rid Of Stress From Everyday Life



Have you ever been in a situation where it all seems messed up, and you can't find a way out. Every decision you take, every move you make, seems to make things worse and it all causes us to lose our heads and make us feel out of control. Stress is the worst feeling ever and many of us do many things that we shouldn't when we are stressed be it shouting on our loved ones or doing things which are harmful for our health. But this isn't something we can't control. This Covid-19 pandemic has caused us a lot of stress physically and mentally . So here are some ways you can relieve your stress and have a satisfying experience of life:

1. Get Proper Sleep

This is the most important factor in causing stress and tension. Lack of sleep causes imbalance to our hormones and due to that imbalance, our mood gets disturbed and we lose control of our thoughts and everything seems to annoy us and causes us to feel fuzzy and messed up. On an average a person should get a 7 hours of sleep but depending to your work and necessities that figure can be increased or decreased. But in order to wake up quickly and wide awake you should follow some rules:
  • The 90 minutes rule: You should break your sleeping hours in 90 minute duration and wake up 30 mins or one hour later of that block. For ex. if you sleep for 7 hours it will break in 4 - 90 minutes(1.5 hrs) and one hour extra because you move back and forth between little "easy wake" sleep (at the start of the 90 minute block ) and Deep sleep(during the end of 90 minute block) in these 90 minute. so adjust your schedule accordingly
  • block all electronics 1 hour before going to bed.

2.Eat good food

Eating unhealthy and eating extra has an adverse effect on your mental health, not only it causes obesity and laziness but it also increases your sugar levels for a shorter time, making you feel energetic, but when the sugar levels go down it causes you to feel tired and sleepy, it sometimes causes an imbalance in cortisol levels, your stress hormone which is increased when you are afraid or in danger. but when it gets high for much higher periods it causes many mental heath issues such as anxiety and depression.

3.Being kind

The most pleasurable thing in human world is to help other when the really need it. Being king and humble does not causes and issues but do resolve some. When we help someone selflessly, it makes us feel elevated and blessed that we are capable of something and when we do it often it becomes a habit and hence the happiness from it, is also a part of it. This will not only help you in getting rid of mental pressure but also will make you a good human overall.

4.Love your work

How could you expect anyone to do something they don't love. They might do it forcefully for sometime but eventually it will be a burden. The same logic applies for you, if you are in a job you don't love then buddy, try to get out of it because it will suck every ounce of your happiness. Find your passion and what drives you and try to focus on that and find a job in that field. You will find yourselves more happy and energetic about your work.
